It's been a long time since SpawnCamper.Com was a blog site. However, it's been sitting without any update for too long now.

There are thousands of CMS templates out there packed with over the top features, complete with support for about a hundred languages and packed with tens of megabytes of gaudy default templates we've all seen a million times. Instead of spending a week or so sorting through the mess you're often left with after a fresh install, I installed Nucleus, hacked up a quick colour scheme and had done with it. It's a bare install bar one Captcha script for anonymous comments. I may add a plugin to keep an eye on referrals, but I'm really not interested in a million features I'll never need.

So hopefully, this should be a streamlined and enjoyable experience. This is probably the first time I've ever had a fully standards compliant site. Please, be my guest, click the validator link at the bottom of the page!

Content-wise, I want to keep things along the lines of the old SpawnCamper.Com. So, expect articles and mentions of those interesting yet easy-to-miss gaming gems from around the web.
